The goal of this blog is to have a place where truth can be told without censorship. Unfortunately, when people don't like what they hear or read, they sometimes try to eliminate it.  But in Magnum Veritas, the truth is great. Here we attempt to be realistic and truthful.

Some fear the truth, but it's important to know the truth so we can make rational decisions.  And that is the goal here-talk about things truthfully but in a civil manner.  Uncivil discussion will be called out and may be removed. That's the only rule but make sure you can back up what you say with facts. If it's your opinion say so.

I plan to discuss local topics as I believe local events have the most impact on our lives. This includes the bigger issues you hear about all the time and the smaller, lesser known issues.  Community events, interviews with interesting local people and local politics will likely be topics of discussion. The back story is intended to be covered as well, not the sanitized version that leaves you wondering what is really going on.  If you have community events you want to post, contact us we'll be glad to list them.

Interesting topics are welcome, just keep them local.  The state and national discussions are everywhere, we don’t need another outlet for that.  We plan to make time for some fun as well. Do you have an interesting hobby or organization you work with that you want to showcase?  Let us know, maybe we can post your passion.
